Germany mass shooting reopens gun law debates as death toll rises to nine

The death toll in the mass shooting in Germany that occurred Wednesday rose to nine on Friday as the country’s government faced more calls to tighten gun ownership laws and increase efforts to track far-right sympathizers, after an alleged racist manifesto from the suspect was found.
