Every year, there are approximately 100 reported cases of tuberculosis in Montreal. People often contract the disease while travelling abroad, but there are some communities right here at home that are vulnerable as well. As Global’s Anne Leclair explains, community organizations and Montreal public health are trying to make TB testing and treatment more accessible.
