When speaking to reporters on Wednesday, former Illinois governor Rod Blagojevich thanked U.S. President Donald Trump a day after he commuted his prison sentence, calling it an “act of kindness”. Before being commuted, Blagojevich served eight of his 14-year sentence for wire fraud, extortion and soliciting bribes.
