Two people were taken to hospital after two snowmobiles collided on Rice Lake on Sunday night. The collision happened about 1.5 kilometres off shore at Hiawatha First Nation, just south of Peterborough. OPP say the two snowmobilers were part of a group of 15 people travelling together. One snowmobiler was airlifted to a Toronto-area hospital with serious injuries. A female was taken to a local hospital. The investigation continues.
