Coronavirus outbreak: China reports fall in cases as U.S., Canada, Hong Kong and Korea say they’ll evacuate passengers

China reported a fall in the number of COVID-19 coronavirus cases on Sunday, with 2,009 cases confirmed – down from 2,641 the previous day – and 142 deaths. As that number lowers, however, the reported cases on board the Diamond Princess cruise ship docked in Japan rose to 355, with the U.S., Canada, Hong Kong and South Korea all saying they planned to evacuate its citizens on board. The U.S. has planned at least one evacuation flight to leave Sunday.
