Japan’s health minister, Katsunobu Kato, said on Saturday that they had received word the U.S. government planned to evacuate Americans on board the Diamond Princess cruise ship, anchored in Japan, and fly them out using a chartered plane. He also said that they received the results of 217 people tested on board and 67 had tested positive, including 38 without symptoms, who will now be transported to medical facilities.
