Trump defends ‘legal right’ to ask attorney general to act on criminal cases

U.S. President Donald Trump tweeted on Friday that he has the “legal right” to ask Attorney General William Barr to take action on criminal cases although he has so far “chosen not to,” as controversy continues to percolate over the Justice Department’s recommendation for a lesser sentence on Roger Stone.
