Garneau says blockade causing disruptions for all Canadians, but dialogue is way forward

Transportation Minister Marc Garneau spoke about rail blockades that have led to the shutdown of several transportation services, including Via Rail and CN Rail, and said the government recognize it impacts “each and every Canadian.” But Garneau said that it is dialogue and seeking consensus, citing the blockade in New Hazelton, B.C. that was taken down recently allowing the resumption of train service in the area.
