Foreign Minister Francois-Philippe Champagne said on Friday that countries have been “speaking with one voice” in stressing to Iran that the black boxes from Ukraine International Airlines flight PS752, which was shot down in Iran in January, be sent to France for analysis as it’s been determined Iran does not have the capabilities or equipment to do so and that “we need to move on” in the process. He also said they’ve been communicating with Ukraine over the incident, saying the “black boxes belong to them,” and they want the devices sent to France as well.
