David Newhouse is Professor of Indigenous Studies at Trent University and Director of its Chanie Wenjack School of Indigenous Studies. He’s also chairing the Canadian Indigenous/Native Studies Association (CINSA) Conference taking place at Trent February 18-21. It’s co-presented by the Urban Aboriginal Knowledge Network and is a significant gathering of indigenous leaders, policy makers and decision makers…. so, why has the general public been invited to attend?
