A memorial for Wuhan doctor Li Wenliang – one of the first physicians to raise the alarm about the new strain of coronavirus in December 2019 – was held by Hong Kong politicians outside the city’s Mainland China government building. Li died from the virus, now called COVID-19 by the World Health Organization, on Feb. 7, at 34 years old.
