On Monday, Chief Medical Officer Dr. David Williams and Associate Medical Officer of Health Dr. Barbara Yaffe said that Canada is still in the “containment phase” of the coronavirus outbreak, and that they are being “extremely vigilant” and “proactive” in identifying cases and analyzing new data.
