Thousands of Iraqi protesters marched through the streets of Baghdad, Najaf and Nasiriya on Sunday, Feb. 9, against the newly appointed prime minister, Mohammed Allawi. Demonstrators condemned recent attacks on protesters they say were carried out by followers of populist cleric Moqtada al-Sadr.
