In the Feb. 8 cold open for Saturday Night Live, the cast parodies the U.S. Democratic presidential candidates in a mock debate, including a guest appearance by comedy icon Larry David as Bernie Sanders. As the real Democratic candidates continue to campaign ahead of the election to see who will face off with Donald Trump in the presidential election later this year, the SNL cast pretends to do the same, referencing why they think Americans should vote for them.
