Trump says if he didn’t fire James Comey ‘it’s possible I wouldn’t be standing here right now’

Speaking to reporters a day after being acquitted of both impeachment charges in the U.S. Senate, U.S. President Donald Trump said if he didn’t fire former FBI Director James Comey it’s possible he “wouldn’t even be standing here right now.”
