The FDA approves first-ever drug to treat peanut allergies

On January 31, the U.S. FDA approved the first ever peanut allergy drug to treat children. Under medical supervision, patients will be given Palforzia, a standardized peanut powder that they will have to consume daily to build tolerance to peanuts.
