On Wednesday, Conservative MP Arnold Viersen told reporters that he stood by an apology he made on Tuesday after asking NDP MP Laurel Collins if sex work was “an area of work that she had considered.” Collins had been advocating for the safety of sex workers after a Quebec woman was killed by a parolee who had previously been convicted of murder.
