Two people were transported to a Toronto-area hospital with serious injuries following a 2-vehicle collision on Friday night in Selwyn Township.
Peterborough County OPP responded to the crash around 10:30 p.m. on Lakefield Road at the 7th Line.
Police say a southbound SUV crossed the centre line and struck a northbound car. The driver and passenger in the car were transported to a Toronto-area hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the SUV was taken to PRHC with minor injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
Lakefield Road was closed overnight and reopened on Saturday.
