Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer criticized the decision by 51 senators Friday to vote against calling witnesses and documents in the impeachment trial of President Donald Trump, saying the chamber had “turned away from truth” and gone along with a “sham trial.” He said if Trump is acquitted without documents or witnesses, it will have “no value.”
