Last week, a pair of Montreal work horses were brought to a horse rescue in Vaudreuil to live out their retirement, now that calèches have been banned by the city. As Global’s Phil Carpenter explains, Max and Freddy are making new friends, frolicking in the yard and living their best horse lives.
