Jan. 31 officially marks the United Kingdom’s departure from the European Union, after a lengthy period coming to a final Brexit deal. But, not much is set to change for at least 11 months as the U.K. will be abiding by the EU’s rules through a transition period and hopes to strike a new trade deal with the EU.
