T&T Supermarket CEO explains long-standing practice of staff wearing masks

Tina Lee, CEO of T&T Supermarket, says she has been forced to debunk social media rumours about novel coronavirus at store locations. In an effort to address concerns, she explains there is a cultural difference when it comes to many staff who wear face masks. Lee says employees may choose to wear masks as a sign of politeness or courtesy, but adds it can be misconstrued as a sign of illness.
