Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer on Thursday responded to the argument from Trump’s lawyer Alan Dershowitz on Wednesday that if a president believes his election is in the public interest, what he does to secure his election should not be impeachable. Schumer called the argument “a load of nonsense” and said it would “unleash a monarch.”
