First confidence vote on new NAFTA passes as debate on second reading commences: Freeland

Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland said in the House of Commons on Thursday that the first vote for the new NAFTA took place a day prior, which saw a passing confidence vote. Jan. 30 marked the beginning of the bill’s second reading.
