Among his many roles in the community, Doug Northey is Chair of the PolarFest Committee and the BEL Rotary Polar Plunge. The annual 3-day winter festival was designed to unite three communities, but now connects visitors from well beyond the borders of Bridgenorth, Ennismore and Lakefield. Northey speaks to the core goal of the festival, the draw of the polar plunge, and a key component in keeping PolarFest attendance on the rise.
