During the Senate impeachment trial for U.S. President Donald Trump on Friday, Democratic representative Zoe Lofgren argued that Trump ordering top officials not to testify before the House was obstruction of justice, “plain and simple.” She added that no president has ever issued an order to prevent a government witness from testifying in an impeachment inquiry.
