Brampton, Ont., Mayor Patrick Brown said on Friday that the $20 million in funding Ontario is giving the Peel Regional Police to “fight” against guns and gang violence is “an important step towards public safety.” Brown added that gangs and gun violence is a problem that affects all of the Greater Toronto Area.
