Early reading a focus of Family Literacy Day in Peterborough

It’s being recognized across the country and in the city of Peterborough.
Monday January 27th is Family Literacy Day, marked around the world.
The Literacy Day movement is meant to encourage people to slow down, appreciate a good book, share and acknowledge the joy and importance of reading.
Peterborough Family Literacy Day chairperson Paul Rellinger talks about Saturday’s Literacy Day Celebration (Jan 25) and about why reading to very young children is so significant.
