Literacy Day in Peterborough returns to promote reading and inspire imagination

Literacy Day is a national initiative that is also marked with an annual event in Peterborough.
It is meant to encourage people to slow down, appreciate a good book and acknowledge the importance of reading. Chairperson Paul Rellinger, was in studio on Global News Morning to discuss this year’s event and to talk about why reading at a young age is so significant.
