Terrance Finn was interviewed by Peterborough Police Service just several hours after his wife was found shot inside a vehicle parked outside a Home Depot on Aug. 22, 2018.
Sandra Finn later died in hospital in Toronto.
Finn told police the night prior to the shooting he said the only solution to their financial and living challenges was to “do her and then do me.”
The video was played as evidence during Finn’s first-degree murder trial.
At the request of the Crown and family, two pieces of the interview were muted to avoid identifying individuals.
