Pat Cipillone, a member of the legal team defending President Donald Trump in his impeachment trial, criticized House Intelligence Chair Adam Schiff on Tuesday for not turning over documents regarding the whistleblower they had requested. He also accused House Democrats of using impeachment as a way to “steal not one election, but two,” referring both to the 2016 election in which Trump was elected but also the 2020 race.
