Pat Cipollone, one of President Donald Trump’s legal counsel for his impeachment trial, said on Tuesday that the rules proposed by Majority Leader Mitch McConnell were a “fair way to proceed,” saying it gave each side equal time to present their cases, and said after they are heard they’re confident senators will dismiss the articles of impeachment.
