Schumer accuses McConnell of using Trump impeachment trial rules as ‘cover up’

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer criticized the rules for the impeachment trial of President Donald Trump on Tuesday, saying it appeared Majority Leader Mitch McConnell was going along with Trump in covering up his alleged crimes and would result in a “rushed trial” that would see arguments happen “in the dead of night.”
