Freeland stresses Canada will follow ‘rule of law’ in Meng Wanzhou case

Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland said Monday that Canada would continue to follow the rule of law when it comes to the case of Meng Wanzhou, and honour their extradition treaty commitments, stressing the priority for the government was the well-being and release of Michael Kovrig and Michael Spavor by Chinese authorities.
