U.S. Republican Sen. Lisa Murkowski spoke about the impeachment trial on Sunday, saying she doesn’t want it to be seen as a “kangaroo circus,” and said while some have called for it to be dismissed, she said it’s important the trial take place and is seen as fair. She also said if after hearing both sides she feels she needs to hear more, she will vote in favour of calling additional witnesses.
