Nadler says Trump defence for impeachment trial ‘ridiculous’

One of the House of Representatives’ impeachment managers, Rep. Jerry Nadler, said on Face the Nation on Sunday that the defence being put forward by President Donald Trump’s legal team, including Ken Starr and Alan Dershowitz, was “arrant nonsense” and “ridiculous.” He said any jury based on the evidence would convict in “three minutes flat.”
