Rep. Adam Schiff said on Wednesday, after being appointed one of seven impeachment managers, that had the House waited for a court to rule on allowing witnesses blocked by the Trump administration, it would have “negated” their impeachment power. The Senate has not said whether it will allow never-before-heard witnesses at the upcoming trial.
