Former Nissan chair Carlos Ghosn told Reuters on Tuesday that a French ambassador warned him that there was an inside plot and that Nissan would be “turning against” him. Ghosn fled to Lebanon from Japan earlier this month to escape corruption charges and is now considered an international fugitive.
