Venezuela’s opposition leader, Juan Guaido, held a rally on Saturday and called for more protests against Nicolas Maduro’s government in the wake of a failed attempt by the ruling Socialist Party to install allied leadership in congress. Earlier this week, troops blocked his access long enough for the party to declare an allied legislator as head of parliament, but opposition held a separate session Jan. 5 and re-elected him anyway.
