After being briefed by U.S. defense officials regarding last week’s assassination of Iranian Gen. Qassam Soleimani, Senator Mike Lee said on Wednesday that it was “the worst briefing I’ve seen, at least on a military issue,” adding that it was “not acceptable” for officials to tell congress that they are unable to discuss U.S. military intervention against Iran.
