On Wednesday morning, Iranian mourners buried Gen. Qassam Soleimani in Kerman, Iran, hours after the Islamic Republic launched missiles at Ain Al-Assad airbase in Iraq, which was housing American military forces, as well as a base in Erbil. Soleimani was killed by a targeted U.S. airstrike in Baghdad, Iraq, on Friday amid rising tensions between the two countries.
