During a press conference in Toronto on Jan. 7, John Vice, spokesperson for Guardian Angels Program, said the Ontario government has not acted upon recommendations made in the July 2019 final report that investigated the “horrific” murders of senior citizens in long-term care homes by Elizabeth Wettlaufer. Vice also said he has filed a complaint on the conditions of nursing homes with the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal.
