Australian wildfires cause orange skies 2000 km away in New Zealand

Smoke from the wildfires burning on Australia’s east coast turned the sky above Auckland, New Zealand orange on Sunday, despite being over 2000 km away. 24 people have been killed and nearly 1000 homes destroyed since the start of Australia’s wildfire season.
