Japan calls Ghosn’s escape ‘illegal’, orders tighter border controls

Japan’s justice minister and prosecutors called former Nissan Chairman Carlos Ghosn’s escape from the country “illegal,” and have said that they are going to tighten border controls. Ghosn fled house arrest in Japan on New Year’s Eve, and is believed to be taking refuge in Lebanon.
