Bec Winter’s horse, Charmer, helped her escape the wildfires near her home in New South Wales, Australia, on New Year’s Eve. After agreeing to meet her son and nephew at a nearby beach, Winter and her horse galloped through the smoke and heat, eventually reaching safety and lodging at a nearby hotel.
