Humane Farming Practices a focus at Keene’s Harley Farms

Emily Harley is Education and Tourism Manager for Harley Farms in Keene, Ontario. Her family’s farm has been recognized for its efforts in achieving environmental sustainability, energy efficiency and humane farming practices. We spoke to Emily about the challenges of farming in 2019, as well as in the difficult weather. Harley Farms advocates for ways to keep community mindful of farmlife: as was illustrated by the special guest who joined her in the Global News studio in Peterborough.
