U.S. Democratic Sen. Chris Coons said on Sunday on Face the Nation that the country was currently in a “sharply divided partisan moment” and that there is difficult discussing political differences with friends and even in some families. He said they need to focus on why politicians are in Congress and what they’re trying to do.
