A former New York State Assembly member on Sunday questioned the actions being taken to combat anti-Semitic attacks in the state, following an attack on a Hanukkah celebration in Monsey on Saturday. He, as well as a state senator, said more funding is needed to protect places of worship and change how anti-Semitic incidents are dealt with.
