Families of Jewish faith in Peterborough and around the world are preparing for Channuka (Hanukkah ) which in 2019 will begin at sundown on Sunday, December 22nd. We spoke with Dr. Dan Houpt, a local family doctor and member of the Jewish Community Centre executive in Peterborough. We asked him about some of the very basic elements of Hanukka celebrations and preparations.
