Hundreds of thousands of people marched in cities across Sudan on Thursday to celebrate the first anniversary of an uprising that led to the removal of leader Omar al-Bashir and to demand justice for individuals killed in protests. Demonstrators vowed to continue the political transition that stemmed from the protests one year ago in Atbara.
